Patna, December 1 (NationPress) Prominent BJP figure Prem Kumar, who has successfully secured the Gaya Sadar Assembly seat for the ninth consecutive term, submitted his nomination on Monday for the position of Speaker of the Bihar Legislative Assembly.
He is anticipated to be elected without opposition, with the results set to be revealed on Tuesday.
After filing his nomination, Prem Kumar stated,
“I have submitted my nomination today for the role of Speaker of the Bihar Legislative Assembly, with results to be announced tomorrow. I appreciate the decision made by our leaders and express my heartfelt thanks to the party's leadership.”
He also expressed his gratitude to the citizens of Gaya Sadar for re-electing him for the ninth time, deeming it a mandate of trust and responsibility.
