Patna, Jan 2 (NationPress) In a surprising turn of events, Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar paid an unannounced visit to the Janata Dal (United) state office in Patna on Friday, sparking excitement among party leaders and workers.

Upon his arrival, Chief Minister Nitish Kumar headed directly to his chamber, where he assessed organizational activities and engaged in informal discussions.

Later, he interacted with the party workers who were present at the office, asking about their well-being and sharing New Year wishes.

Accompanying him were senior leader and Bihar government minister Vijay Kumar Chaudhary and JD(U) state president Umesh Kushwaha.

Nitish Kumar took the opportunity to inspect the party office and converse with key organizational leaders.

During the recent Bihar Assembly elections, he actively campaigned, addressing numerous rallies and public meetings across the state.

Under his leadership, the NDA performed robustly in the recently held Bihar Assembly election, securing 202 seats.

The JD (U) alone won 85 seats, marking its strongest performance since the 2010 assembly election. In addition, the BJP claimed 89 seats, Lok Janshakti Party Ram Vilas won 19 seats, Hindustani Awam Morcha (Secular) captured 5 seats, and Rashtriya Lok Morcha obtained 4 seats.

Even following the establishment of the new government, he remains actively engaged in both governance and party matters.

He consistently visits different locations daily to review projects in Patna or other districts of Bihar.
