Patna, March 19 (NationPress) Bihar's Chief Minister Nitish Kumar has officially submitted his nomination for the position of National President of the Janata Dal-United (JD-U) on Thursday.
The nomination paperwork was filed at the party’s headquarters in New Delhi by JD(U) National Working President Sanjay Kumar Jha on behalf of Kumar.

Numerous senior leaders from the party attended the nomination event, including Union Minister Ram Nath Thakur, Bihar Minister Shravan Kumar, and Lok Sabha MPs Dileshwar Kamat, Ramprit Mandal, Alok Kumar Suman, Sunil Kumar, and Vijaylakshmi Kushwaha. Also present was Rajya Sabha MP Khiru Mahto.
Other notable leaders included MLC Sanjay Kumar Singh, Khalid Anwar, Harshvardhan Singh, National Secretary Md. Nisar, and Ram Kumar Sharma.
Sanjay Kumar Jha served as the proposer for the nomination, with other senior leaders acting as co-proposers.
Currently, Nitish Kumar holds the title of JD-U National President, and his term is approaching its conclusion.
