Bhopal, Sep 11 (NationPress) Chief Secretary Anurag Jain convened a significant meeting on Thursday with senior administrative and police officials to assess the preparations for Prime Minister Narendra Modi's visit to Dhar district on September 17.
During the gathering held at the Secretariat (Vallabh Bhavan), Jain scrutinized the preparatory tasks alongside officials and engaged in discussions with those assigned specific roles related to various programs.
Among those present were Additional Chief Secretary Sanjay Dube, Principal Secretary (Industrial Policy and Investment Promotion) Raghvendra Kumar Singh, Sukhveer Singh, Gulshan Bamra, and Sandeep Yadav.
Participating via video conferencing were Director General of Police (DGP) Kailash Makwana, Commissioner of Indore Division Sudam Khade, and the Collector of Dhar district.
Notably, during his visit to Madhya Pradesh on September 17, Prime Minister Modi is set to take part in several events, including the inauguration of the 'PM MITRA' Park in Dhar.
The PM MITRA scheme was initiated by the Centre to create large-scale textile manufacturing hubs equipped with world-class infrastructure.
Additionally, the Prime Minister will unveil the ‘Healthy Women, Empowered Families’ campaign and distribute instalment payments of the ‘Pradhan Mantri Matru Vandna Yojana’ (PMMVY) to beneficiaries.
It was conveyed during the meeting that as part of the “Adi Karmayogi” initiative, the Prime Minister will launch “Adi Seva Parv” in tribal regions, scheduled to run from September 17 to October 2.
Moreover, PM Modi will initiate the 'Ek Bagiya Maa Ke Naam' campaign, where female beneficiaries will receive plants as a token of involvement. He will also hand out sickle cell anaemia screening counselling cards.
