Bhopal, Aug 11 (NationPress) Prime Minister Narendra Modi is scheduled to conduct the bhoomi-pujan of the nation’s inaugural 'PM MITRA Park' in the Dhar district of Madhya Pradesh on August 25, as announced by Chief Mohan Yadav on Monday.

During a review meeting regarding PM Modi's impending visit, Chief Minister Yadav urged for meticulous planning of the event and the effective communication of information to the public about the employment-oriented industries and their advantages.

At the event site, a waterproof dome will be erected, equipped with a stage for VVIPs, ample seating, drinking water provisions, and efficient logistics management. He highlighted the necessity for convenient access roads, including alternative routes and essential repairs.

The Chief Minister instructed the commissioners of Indore and Ujjain divisions, along with all district collectors, to collaborate closely to ensure superior arrangements, and he reviewed preparations through video conferencing.

“While other states are still in the preliminary stages of their PM MITRA Parks, Madhya Pradesh will be conducting the groundbreaking ceremony on August 25,” noted Yadav, attributing this progress to ongoing cooperation with the Central government.

The PM Mega Integrated Textile Region and Apparel (PM MITRA) Park in Dhar is poised to be a pivotal development in establishing India as a global leader in textiles.

Spanning over 2,158 acres and with an investment exceeding Rs. 2,000 crore, the park aims to become a textile hub by utilizing cutting-edge infrastructure, promoting sustainable development, and implementing strategic policy support.

During the review, the Chief Minister also stressed that upon completion, the PM MITRA Park will significantly enhance the development of the entire Malwa region.

The Dhar district is set to emerge as the second major industrial center after Pithampur. Developed as a greenfield project by the State Authority, it will boast modern trunk infrastructure, including stormwater drainage, water supply, waste management, sewage systems, a 220 KVA substation, SCADA-controlled utilities, well-planned street lighting, and various amenities.

Chief Yadav also expressed optimism that the project will create three lakh direct and indirect jobs, with Dhar's Badnawar tehsil becoming part of the Indore Metropolitan City Area, thus gaining access to metropolitan amenities.
