New Delhi/Bhopal, Aug 18 (NationPress) The Chief Minister of Madhya Pradesh, Mohan Yadav, visited Prime Minister Narendra Modi at the Parliament on Monday during his trip to the nation's capital.
In their discussion, Yadav briefed the Prime Minister on the state's significant welfare and development initiatives, which include the upcoming PM MITRA Park in Dhar and the anticipated launch of the Bhopal Metro later this year, likely in October.
PM Modi is set to inaugurate India's inaugural PM MITRA Park in Dhar on August 25. This Rs 2,000-crore initiative aims to establish India as a global leader in textiles. The Prime Minister has also confirmed he will launch the Bhopal Metro during his visit to Madhya Pradesh in October.
The Chief Minister informed PM Modi about the state's success in anti-Naxal operations, reporting the elimination of over 10 Maoists in the past 18 months.
He also emphasized the revised promotion policies that benefit nearly five lakh government employees and the creation of two lakh new job positions.
Yadav invited PM Modi to several forthcoming events, including the Kisan Sammelan in Sehore from October 12-14, which will focus on food processing and agriculture-related industries.
“Each meeting with PM Modi revitalizes my spirit and motivation,” Yadav later shared on X.
The Chief Minister also spoke about recent milestones, such as the establishment of a railway coach manufacturing facility in Sehore, asserting that his administration has diligently worked to enhance industrial and economic growth over the past year and a half.
He noted that the state has already signed Memorandums of Understanding (MoUs) valued at over Rs 30 lakh crore for new industrial ventures and assured that the pursuit of investments will persist.
During his stay in Delhi, Yadav also engaged with Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan at his official residence on Sunday.
