Bhopal, August 1 (NationPress) Chief Minister Mohan Yadav announced on Friday that Prime Minister Narendra Modi is set to visit Madhya Pradesh soon, igniting excitement among the local populace.
“It’s truly exhilarating that Prime Minister Modi has tentatively agreed to personally grace two significant events — the launch of the Bhopal Metro train and the foundation-laying ceremony for the PM MITRA Park in Dhar,” the Chief Minister remarked in an official statement.
During a meeting with PM Modi in New Delhi on Thursday, Yadav requested the Prime Minister’s presence at an upcoming Kisan Samman event aimed at celebrating the farmers of the state. “The Prime Minister’s Office will soon confirm the event dates for all three occasions,” Yadav said.
This announcement came just a day after Yadav met with PM Modi at the Parliament House in the national capital, where he presented a comprehensive report on his 18-month tenure. The Chief Minister highlighted the progress made in Madhya Pradesh through a booklet titled ‘Virasat Se Vikas Ki Rahi – 18 Months of Good Governance’, showcasing advancements across multiple sectors.
The report details achievements in economic growth, industrial development, poverty alleviation, tribal welfare, women empowerment (Nari Shakti), health, education, good governance, urban development, infrastructure, tourism, cultural promotion, and environmental conservation.
CM Yadav also informed the Prime Minister about his recent successful investment trips to Dubai and Spain, aimed at attracting international investment to the state. While in New Delhi, the Chief Minister also met with Union Home Minister Amit Shah and Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan.
