Patna, Aug 30 (NationPress) Lok Janshakti Party (Ram Vilas) MP Arun Bharti announced during a press conference in Patna that his party is gearing up to compete for all 243 seats in the forthcoming Bihar Assembly elections.

Nevertheless, he emphasized that the ultimate decision will hinge on reaching a consensus within the NDA.

"A fair agreement among the five parties in the NDA is essential. Without parity, it would be inappropriate for the coalition," he stated, dismissing misleading reports suggesting that LJP-RV would limit its participation to only 20 seats.

Bharti further reiterated his previous statement from Friday, indicating the party's aim to contest between 43 and 137 seats, which he deemed a "respectable" target for LJP-RV.

He also revealed the next phase of their 'Nav Sankalp Mahasabha', a statewide outreach initiative.

In the presence of State party President Raju Tiwari, Bharti shared that the Mahasabha, which commenced in Arrah, will proceed to Muzaffarpur on September 4 at 11 a.m. Here, LJP-RV Chief Chirag Paswan will address the public, sharing his vision of "Bihar First, Bihari First" along with a roadmap for a prosperous Bihar.

Targeting the Opposition's 'Voter Adhikar Yatra', Bharti criticized it as merely a "personal agenda" of Lok Sabha Leader of Opposition Rahul Gandhi and Rashtriya Janata Dal leader Tejashwi Yadav.

He denounced the derogatory remarks aimed at Prime Minister Narendra Modi, asserting that Yadav's comments evoke memories of the Jungle Raj era, marked by threats of violence.

"The Opposition is solely attempting to mislead the citizens of Bihar. However, the public will not permit a return to previous conditions," Bharti asserted.

With the Mahasabha taking place in Muzaffarpur and the party's firm stance on seat-sharing, attention will focus on how Chirag Paswan positions LJP-RV within the NDA as the Assembly elections approach.
