Key Takeaways
Patna, Nov 5 (NationPress) Congress General Secretary and Wayanad MP Priyanka Gandhi Vadra delivered a piercing critique of Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Wednesday, asserting that even Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar is hesitant to share the stage with him.
Priyanka Gandhi stated, “Narendra Modi is isolated on the platform because Nitish Kumar is opting not to join him. No one pays attention to Nitish Kumar anymore. He is seated in Patna, while his administration is being orchestrated from Delhi. All significant decisions concerning Bihar are being dictated by Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
Speaking at a large rally in the Chanpatia Assembly constituency in West Champaran, Priyanka Gandhi asserted, “As the Prime Minister of this nation, Narendra Modi should be worried about whether impoverished families have sufficient food. Instead, he is preoccupied with checking if Tejashwi Yadav's image appears on Congress campaign posters.”
The Congress MP expressed her astonishment that the Prime Minister was scrutinizing opposition party posters rather than addressing the issues faced by the underprivileged.
Earlier, while in Valmiki Nagar, she claimed that the NDA was aiming to establish a government in Bihar through “vote theft,” alleging that the names of 6.5 million voters, including women, were erased from electoral lists via SIR.
Priyanka Gandhi drew parallels between the present circumstances in the nation and the British Raj, voicing skepticism about the continuity of elections in India in the future.
“Today, my brother Rahul Gandhi detailed the issue of vote theft in Haryana,” she commented, referencing allegations made by Opposition Leader Rahul Gandhi concerning extensive irregularities in the Haryana Assembly elections.
She further vowed that if the INDIA coalition secures power in Bihar, impoverished families would receive free medical care up to Rs 25 lakh, an endeavor would be made to provide one government job per family, and vacant positions across various departments would be filled.
