He emphasized that by ensuring fairness and truth in auditing, the CAG serves as a foundation for accountability, transparency, and integrity—the moral riches of Bharat.
Additionally, Vice-President Radhakrishnan praised the CAG for introducing the "One Nation, One Set of Object Heads of Expenditure" for the Union and all state governments, a reform expected to significantly improve the transparency and comparability of government spending.
