Chandigarh, March 10 (NationPress) Congress MP Rahul Gandhi visited Madina village in Haryana's Sonipat on Tuesday to celebrate the wedding of a farmer's daughter.

During the ceremony, Rahul, who serves as the Leader of Opposition in the Lok Sabha, sat on mattresses among the family attendees.

Women around him entertained with traditional songs, and he engaged by asking questions about the folk music and cultural practices.

The Gandhi family's presence lasted approximately half an hour.

The bride's aunt, Kirti Jakhar, shared with the press that Rahul showed interest in the wedding customs and rituals typically observed during such celebrations.
