Mumbai, Jan 25 (NationPress) The President of the Bharatiya Liberal Party (BLP) and candidate for the New Delhi Assembly Seat in the forthcoming elections, Dr Munish Kumar Raizada, visited Ralegan Siddhi, Maharashtra to seek blessings from Anna Hazare, a prominent social reformer and anti-corruption advocate who spearheaded the India Against Corruption movement in 2011.
Dr Raizada is deeply connected to the India Against Corruption initiative, having supported it from its inception while working as a doctor (Neonatologist) in Chicago, USA for over 22 years before returning to India.
During his meeting with Anna Hazare, Dr Raizada presented a letter discussing the political climate in Delhi and the ongoing Delhi Assembly elections.
In his correspondence with Anna Hazare, Dr Raizada expressed concern that all three major parties—Aam Aadmi Party (AAP), Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), and Congress—have been engaging in vote-buying practices by distributing cash and liquor, thereby undermining democracy and fair election standards.
