Jaipur, Dec 13 (NationPress) The Minister of State (MoS) for Home Affairs, Jawahar Singh Bedham, asserted on Friday that former Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot is misleading the residents of Rajasthan with statements rooted in falsehoods.
He emphasized that the swift progress achieved under the leadership of Chief Minister Bhajan Lal Sharma over the past two years has unsettled Gehlot.
Bedham pointed out that Gehlot seems to be ignorant of the National Crime Records Bureau (NCRB) statistics, alleging that during the Congress regime, Rajasthan faced rampant lawlessness, whereas overall crime rates have dropped by about 13 percent under the BJP government’s two-year rule.
In his remarks on the government's accomplishments, the Minister highlighted the remarkable industrial advancement in the state.
He noted that MoUs worth Rs 35 lakh crore were signed at the Rising Rajasthan summit, with 92,000 government jobs created so far.
