Los Angeles, Dec 14 (NationPress) Pop sensation Taylor Swift found herself in a whirlwind of emotions following her LASIK surgery. On Saturday (Pacific Standard Time), the producers of 'The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon' took to social media to celebrate the pop star’s birthday with a nostalgic video.
This clip features a rather irritable Taylor Swift post-surgery, captured by her mother, Andrea Swift, as she hilariously reacted to a banana.
The host, Jimmy Fallon, told the singer-songwriter, “Your mom may or may not have recorded you after surgery, and she shared the footage with us.”
A confused Swift asked, “For the television?”
Fallon responded, “This is a world premiere! You have to watch this. Here’s Taylor post-surgery, having a meltdown over a banana. Check it out, it’s authentic.”
In the video, Swift’s mother can be heard saying, “So, she found a snack. It wasn’t the one I intended. Please, don’t cry. That’s not how this should go. Let me fetch the other one first.”
The artist then exclaimed, “Okay, but what should we do with this now? I’ll eat it; it’s mine. But it doesn’t have a head. I don’t need a head. I’m fine.”
Her mother replied, “No, you don’t want to cry. That’s not the goal here. This is supposed to be fine. You don’t fall asleep eating a banana!”
To which Swift retorted, “I’m not asleep; my mind is wide awake!”
Revisiting the archived footage, Fallon joked, “Don’t be upset with me, please. I made some calls, and oh my goodness, I made some calls. That’s on television. Your mom said, this one doesn’t have a head.”
The singer added, “What are we going to do with it? My mom and I kept in touch. She kindly drove me there, but was cruel enough to film it and hand it over to you.”
