Jaipur, Dec 6 (NationPress) Rajasthan Chief Minister Bhajan Lal Sharma caught morning walkers off guard on Saturday with an unexpected visit to Jaipur’s Jawahar Circle for an early morning stroll.

This visit was marked by a lighter security presence, a significant shift from the typical high-security arrangements that accompany a Chief Minister's movements.

In addition to the reduced security, the customary VIP route was not adhered to, making this informal and spontaneous appearance even more noteworthy.

Before his election, Bhajan Lal Sharma was a frequent visitor to Jawahar Circle, engaging with individuals during his morning walks. After assuming office, he primarily shifted his routine to the official residence, where he dedicates around 45 minutes daily to yoga and walking.

Despite this change, he has made it a point to step out occasionally, having visited various parks in Jaipur since taking office. These outings reflect his commitment to maintaining a connection with his former lifestyle and the community.

Officials from the CMO stated that the Chief Minister’s morning walks serve two primary objectives: to advocate for a healthy Rajasthan by setting an example and to directly engage with citizens in a relaxed environment to grasp their concerns, feelings, and suggestions.

His approachable demeanor has ignited discussions about a more citizen-friendly leadership style. During the walk at Jawahar Circle, Bhajan Lal Sharma encountered many familiar faces from his pre-office life.

Several old friends and acquaintances joined him along the way, fostering a sense of camaraderie and familiarity. Locals expressed their surprise at his simplicity and willingness to interact without formalities.

This unplanned outing further emphasized Sharma’s people-centric and approachable leadership style, which officials suggest may define his time in office.
