Rajasthan's Major IPS Reshuffle: 21 Officers Transferred

Jaipur, Feb 24 (NationPress) The government led by Bhajanlal has implemented significant transfer and promotion directives for 21 IPS officers, resulting in substantial shifts in crucial roles throughout Rajasthan. This reshuffle is largely attributed to recent promotions within the police cadre.
In an order issued late Monday night, the Police Commissioner of Jodhpur along with the Special Police Commissioner of Jaipur have been reassigned. Sharat Kaviraj, previously Inspector General (IG) SOG, is now the new Police Commissioner of Jodhpur.
The former Jodhpur Police Commissioner, Om Prakash, has been appointed as the Special Commissioner of Jaipur.
Rahul Prakash, the Special Police Commissioner of Jaipur, is now the IG of the Jaipur Range.
There have also been changes among the Range IGs in Jaipur, Jodhpur, Bikaner, and Kota: Satyendra Singh is now transferred from IG (CID-CB) to IG, Jodhpur Range.
Om Prakash will be moving from the Police Armed Battalion to IG, Bikaner Range.
Other notable transfers include Hemant Kumar Sharma, who has been appointed IG, SCRB, Jaipur from IG Bikaner Range, and Ajay Pal Lamba, who has transitioned from IG, SCRB Jaipur to IG, SOG Jaipur.
Several senior IPS officers have also received promotions and new roles: Hawa Singh Ghumaria has been promoted from ADG Crime Branch to ADG Headquarters. Vipin Kumar Pandey has moved from ADG, Police Recruitment and Promotion Board (Headquarters) to ADG Crime Branch, Rajasthan. Prafull Kumar has advanced from IG Intelligence to ADG Intelligence. Raghavendra Suvasa, the IG of Jaipur Range, has been elevated to ADG Training. Rajesh Meena, IG of Jodhpur Range, is now IG Home Guard, Jaipur, while S. Parimal has shifted from IG Personnel, Police Headquarters, to IG, ACB.
Vikas Kumar, who was overseeing both ATS and the Anti-Narcotics Task Force, will now focus solely on the IG, Anti-Narcotics Task Force role, with ATS responsibilities having been reassigned.
Rajesh Singh is now taking over as IG, ATS, Jaipur, previously holding the IG ACB position.
Satyendra Kumar has been appointed as the CEO of the Rajasthan Institute for Transportation and Innovation (RITI), a role equivalent to an IAS-level administrative position, transitioning from IG, SCRB, Jaipur.
Preeti Chandra has been designated IG, Law and Order Administration, Jaipur, moving from DIG, Armed Battalion First, Jaipur.
