Jaipur, Oct 2 (NationPress) During the celebration of Vijayadashami, Jawahar Singh Bedham, the Minister of State for Home Affairs, proclaimed on Thursday that Ram Rajya will triumph in Rajasthan, asserting that Ravana has no relevance in contemporary India.
In a press conference held at the BJP state office, Bedham stated, "Ravana epitomizes malevolence, which the citizens of this nation have successfully eliminated. Currently, devotees of Ram have governed the country for three consecutive terms. Ravana is non-existent and holds no significance in today’s India.”
Criticizing the former Congress administration, Bedham referenced the National Crime Records Bureau (NCRB) Report, claiming that crime rates soared under the Gehlot government, resulting in a state of “jungle raj.”
“During Gehlot’s leadership in 2023, incidents of rape, violence against women, crimes against Scheduled Tribes, and cybercrime surged. Nevertheless, leaders like Gehlot and Dotasara misled the populace,” Bedham alleged.
