Jaipur, Feb 5 (NationPress) The Rajasthan Police have detained four cyber criminals in distinct operations related to sextortion and job scams, also confiscating the mobile devices utilized in these illicit activities.
The individuals were implicated in sextortion schemes and misleading job propositions. As per SP Sanjeev Nain, a specialized initiative targeting cyber fraud is currently active in the area. To bolster its effectiveness, a committed team has been established under ASP Tejpal Singh and DSP Traffic Mukesh Chaudhary.
During this operation, SHO Laxmangarh Neki Ram and his unit conducted a raid in Teliyawas Tan Maujpur village on January 30, resulting in the arrest of Sabir Khan and Sahil Khan.
The authorities recovered two mobile phones, a Bolero vehicle, and a motorcycle, while three additional suspects eluded capture. These fraudsters exploited counterfeit SIM cards and mobile devices to mislead victims via social media, produce explicit recordings, and extort them.
However, the fugitives Barish Mev (21), Abbas Mev (35), and Mubarak Mev (19) were subsequently apprehended in Teliya Ka Bas, Laxmangarh.
In another operation, SHO Govindgarh Bane Singh and his team executed a raid in Indpur village utilizing intelligence and technical surveillance, capturing Jafaru Mev (27). This suspect was associated with defrauding individuals by promoting fake job vacancies for pen and pencil packing through social media. An Android mobile device was seized from him. The police are persistently striving to dismantle cyber fraud operations and ensure that culprits face justice, stated SP Nain.
