Jaipur, March 14 (NationPress) In a surprising move late Friday night, the Rajasthan government has reassigned the Police Superintendents of 22 districts. This change is part of a larger overhaul, with a total of 64 officers from the Indian Police Service (IPS) being transferred.

Among those affected, nine officers promoted from Police Superintendent roles have now been appointed as Deputy Inspectors General (DIG).

Transfers also included several officers from key units such as the Cyber Crime wing, the Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB), and the Anti-Narcotics wing.

According to the personnel orders, Ajay Singh is now the Additional Commissioner of Police-I in Jaipur, while Yogesh Yadav moves from the Anti-Narcotics wing to the ATS as DIG. Rashi Dogra Dudi transitions from her role as SP (Jaipur Rural) to serve as DIG in the CID-CB.

Vinay Kumar D.H. has been appointed as the Aide-de-Camp (ADC) to the Governor, with DIG Anand Sharma now posted to the JDA. Ramamurthy Joshi takes on the role of DIG (ACB) in Udaipur, and Sumit Mehrada has been designated as SP (Cyber Crime) in Jaipur.

Monika Sen has been assigned as SP in Pali; Dr. Amrita Duhan in Udaipur; P.D. Nitya in Jaipur Rural; and Jayeshtha Maitreya in Banswara. Ranjita Sharma will serve as the Deputy Commissioner of Police (DCP) in Jaipur City (East), while Prashant Kiran has been appointed as DCP for Jaipur City (West).

Notably, Ranjita Sharma is a 2019-batch officer, whereas Prashant Kiran hails from the 2021 batch.

Nischay Prasad M, another 2021-batch officer, will take on the role of DCP (Traffic) in Jaipur.

Pushpendra Singh Rathore has been appointed as the SP for Sirohi, and Kamal Shekhawat will serve as DCP for Jodhpur (West); both were previously based in Jaipur.

The Anti-Narcotics Task Force has been bolstered to enhance efforts against drug-related offenses, with DIG Yogesh Yadav transitioning to ATS and DIG Abhijit Singh stepping in to succeed him. Amit Jain has also joined this unit as SP, while IG Vikas Kumar remains stationed there.

This recent administrative reshuffle has led to new postings across various districts in Rajasthan. Sudhir Joshi has been assigned to Jhunjhunu; Sanjeev Nain to Jaipur Rural; Narendra Singh to Barmer; and Monika Sen to Pali.

Gyan Chandra Yadav will take charge in Churu, Narendra Singh Meena in Hanumangarh, and Mridul Kachhawa in Bikaner. Satveer Singh is now in Kotputli-Behror, and Satnam Singh in Phalodi.

Harsh Vardhan Agarwala has been appointed in Ajmer, Dr. Amrita Duhan in Udaipur, and P.D. Nitya in Jodhpur Rural.

Piyush Dixit will serve in Karauli, Bishanaram in Salumber, and Pushpendra Singh Rathore in Sirohi. Avneesh Kumar Sharma is assigned to Bundi, and Jayeshtha Maitreyi to Banswara.

Brijesh Jyoti Upadhyay has been appointed in Bhiwadi and will also oversee Khairthal-Tijara. Hari Shankar has been assigned to Sri Ganganagar, Hemant Kalal to Rajsamand, Kamble Sharan Gopinath to Deeg, and Roshan Meena to Nagaur.
