Jaipur, March 19 (NationPress) In a significant restructuring of its administrative framework, the Rajasthan government has executed transfers involving 25 IAS and nine IPS officials, leading to considerable modifications in important departments.

Senior IAS official Alok Gupta has been designated as the Additional Chief Secretary (ACS) for the Urban Development and Housing (UDH) Department. He will step down from his previous role as Chairman of the Pollution Control Board while also taking on the additional responsibilities of Principal Secretary for UDH and Chairman of the Housing Board.

Ajitabh Sharma, who was previously the Principal Secretary of Energy, has now been appointed as the Chairman of the Revenue Board in Ajmer.

Furthermore, the Water Supply Department has been reassigned from Akhil Arora, the ACS to the Chief Minister.

Aparna Arora has transitioned from the Social Justice and Empowerment Department to assume the role of ACS for Mines and Petroleum.

Shreya Guha, previously serving as the ACS for Rural Development, has been appointed as the Director General of the HCM Rajasthan State Institute of Public Administration (HCM RIPA) and Managing Director of the Rajasthan Financial Corporation.

Additionally, Praveen Gupta, ACS, has been given extra responsibilities for the Youth Affairs and Sports Department alongside the Public Works Department (PWD). However, he will no longer oversee Tourism, Archaeology, and the Amer Development Authority.

Rajesh Yadav has taken on the role of Secretary for the School Education and Language Department, succeeding his previous position at HCM RIPA.

Hemant Gera has been reassigned from Chairman of the Revenue Board to Secretary of the Water Supply Department.

Neeraj K. Pawan, the Secretary of Sports, has been relocated as the Director General of the Indira Gandhi Panchayati Raj Institute. This transfer occurs amid active discussions regarding sports governance within the state.

Purna Chand Kishan (P.C. Kishan), who had been awaiting posting orders since December 29, 2025, after returning from central deputation, is now the Secretary for the Labour and Factories Department, with additional responsibilities as Secretary of Health Services (ECS).
