Bhopal, Sep 9 (NationPress) In a significant shake-up within the administration, the Madhya Pradesh government, under the leadership of Chief Minister Mohan Yadav, has transferred 30 Indian Police Service (IPS) and 15 Indian Administrative Service (IAS) officers. The General Administration Department (GAD) released a series of notifications late Monday night, resulting in the reassignment of five collectors across the districts including Indore, Jabalpur, Katni, Barwani, and Agar-Malwa.
Notably, Sudam Khade, the Public Relations Officer (PRO) for the state, has been moved to serve as the Commissioner of the Jabalpur division.
The District Collector of Jabalpur, Deepka Sexena, is now appointed as the new Public Relations Officer at the Directorate of Public Relations (DPR) of Madhya Pradesh.
Meanwhile, Ashish Singh, the Collector of Indore, will now take on the role of Commissioner for the Ujjain division, and Shivam Verma, the Municipal Commissioner of Indore, has been designated as the new Collector for Indore district.
Additionally, Deepak Singh, the Commissioner of Indore division, has been appointed Secretary at the Madhya Pradesh State Election Commission, succeeding Abhishek Singh, who will join the Home Department as Secretary. The transfer list for the 30 IPS officers includes those at the ranks of DIG and SP.
Changes have also been made at the Superintendent of Police (SP) level in Ashoknagar and Dhar; Rajeev Mishra has been named the new SP of Ashoknagar, while Mayank Awasthi will take charge as SP of Dhar, according to the state government's announcement.
New DIG appointments have also been made in regions such as Indore Rural, Chhatarpur, Balaghat, Bhopal Rural, Ratlam, and Sagar.
The reshuffling includes changes to the Additional CP (HQ and Crime) roles in both Indore and Bhopal.
In the latest adjustments, Lalit Shakyawar, the DIG of Chhatarpur, and Sunil Kumar Pandey, the DIG of Sagar, have been moved to the Police Headquarters in Bhopal.
Furthermore, Mukesh Kumar Srivastava, the DIG of Balaghat, has been assigned to the State Human Rights Commission.
Lastly, Omprakash Tripathi, the DIG of Bhopal Rural, is now appointed as DIG of the Special Armed Force for the Central Zone, while Manoj Kumar Singh, the DIG of Ratlam, has transitioned to the Lokayukta Department of the MP Police.
