New Delhi, March 30 (NationPress) Kerala BJP President Rajeev Chandrasekhar praised Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s 'Mann Ki Baat' program on Sunday, calling it a wellspring of motivation for the youth and everyone dedicated to India's progress.
He emphasized that it serves as a platform showcasing the stories of everyday Indians who, though not involved in politics, business, or government, make significant contributions to their communities.
“In my view, youth everywhere and those passionate about India's development experience a monthly boost of motivation. Prime Minister Modi shares tales of ordinary Indians who engage in inspiring actions that positively affect their communities, cities, and villages,” he stated.
The Kerala BJP President expressed that he feels rejuvenated after each episode.
“For me, every month, I feel revitalized after watching Mann Ki Baat. For the next 30 days, I move forward invigorated by the narratives of these individuals who envision a more developed Bharat,” he added.
Concerning the Waqf Amendment Bill, Chandrasekhar accused the INDIA bloc of disseminating misinformation to mislead a specific community. He indicated that the bill, proposed by Modi, is not targeting any group but instead seeks to safeguard people's constitutional right to property.
“The Waqf Amendment Bill is not against anyone. It is a pro-people, pro-constitutional right to property amendment. The opposition, whether it is Owaisi or Rahul Gandhi, relies entirely on falsehoods and misinformation,” he commented.
He also highlighted that in Kerala, numerous families have suffered due to alleged arbitrary land seizures by Waqf authorities.
“In Kerala alone, there are hundreds of families in Munambam, near Cochin, whose lands and properties are being seized by the Waqf without consent. The Waqf Amendment Act will safeguard individuals from having their properties unlawfully taken,” he noted.
He welcomed the Kerala Catholic Bishop Council’s recent call for MPs to support the bill, describing it as a positive move. He urged all MPs, including those from Congress, to ensure that laws align with the Constitution and address the actual challenges faced by the populace.
