Rajiv Gop was captured during a raid related to an extortion case filed under Mokama Police Station Case No. 41/26.

Upon Siddharth's refusal to comply, Gop reportedly physically assaulted him and threatened his life.
In the wake of this incident, Siddharth's mother, Ranjana Kumari, filed a formal complaint, prompting the police to set a trap and launch a focused operation.
Barh SDPO-1 Anand Kumar Singh stated that Rajiv Gop maintains direct connections with Lallu Mukhiya (Karnveer Yadav), a former RJD candidate from the Barh Assembly constituency.
“Rajiv Gop has served as an active operative for Lallu Mukhiya, particularly in contract-related endeavors and various criminal activities,” the SDPO noted.
Police documentation indicates that Rajiv Gop is not merely a local delinquent but is associated with an organized criminal gang.
He has over 22 cases pending at the Mokama police station, featuring serious allegations under IPC Section 302 (murder), extortion, and kidnapping for ransom.
Gop had been evading law enforcement for a considerable period, with a non-bailable warrant (NBW) outstanding against him.
SDPO Anand Kumar Singh mentioned that a dedicated police team was formed under the guidance of SHO Kunal Kumar.
Acting on intelligence information, police executed a raid on Rajiv Gop’s hideouts early Friday morning. After nearly two hours of searching, he was successfully captured.
Authorities are now delving into Rajiv Gop’s entire criminal network. Updates regarding his arrest have been communicated to police stations across Patna and surrounding areas for his presentation in other pending cases.
The police have issued a stern warning to criminals in the vicinity, asserting that extortion, threats, and terror tactics will not be tolerated, and stringent actions will persist against organized crime.
