Bengaluru, May 26 (NationPress) Renowned spiritual leader and Isha Foundation founder, Sadhguru Jaggi Vasudev, has been honored with the 'Global Indian of the Year' award by the Canada India Foundation (CIF) for his remarkable efforts in enhancing human consciousness and promoting environmental initiatives through the Conscious Planet movement.
This esteemed recognition highlights the accomplishments of individuals of Indian descent who have made a substantial global contribution. Although it was first announced in October 2024, the formal award presentation took place on May 22, 2025, in Toronto, as per a statement from the foundation.
