New Delhi, Nov 10 (NationPress) The Spear Corps of the Indian Army has successfully integrated and validated the use of drones for high-altitude operations, including mine-laying and casualty evacuation with modified stretchers in Arunachal Pradesh, as reported by an official on Monday.
“The drills also featured casualty evacuation utilizing modified stretchers, aerial deployment of 120 mm mortars, and contingency operations that combined unmanned systems with secure communication networks, significantly boosting operational agility,” the official stated on X.
“Personnel from the #SpearCorps have successfully inducted and utilized specialized drones, affirming their effectiveness in high-altitude tasks. Mine-laying exercises were conducted in the remote valleys of #ArunachalPradesh.”

The drone exercises conducted on Monday coincide with the operations performed by the Spear Corps on Sunday, where troops successfully validated drone-based Combat Medical Care in forward areas of Arunachal Pradesh, demonstrating the rapid distribution of critical medical supplies across challenging terrains.
