New Delhi, April 5 (NationPress) The Indian Railways has announced the launch of special summer trains at a premium fare between Malda Town and Udhna, aimed at accommodating the surge in passenger numbers during the busy holiday season, as confirmed by officials on Sunday.

These special trains, designated as train numbers 09033/09034 Malda Town–Udhna, will operate on a consistent timetable from April to July. The journey spans approximately 38 hours and features a combination of air-conditioned, sleeper, and general class coaches to cater to different passenger needs.

According to the schedule, the 09033 Udhna–Malda Town Special will depart Udhna every Thursday at 11 p.m. from April 9 to July 23, completing 16 trips total, and is expected to arrive in Malda Town at 11:00 a.m. on the third day.

For the return route, the 09034 Malda Town–Udhna Special will set off from Malda Town at 9:30 a.m. every Sunday between April 12 and July 26, also operating 16 trips, and is anticipated to reach Udhna by 1:20 a.m. on the third day.

Throughout its route under the Eastern Railway jurisdiction, the train will make stops at several significant stations, including New Farakka, Barharwa, Sahibganj, Kahalgaon, Bhagalpur, Sultanganj, Jamalpur, and Abhaipur.
