Take Advantage of MSEDCL's Go Green Initiative for a One-Time Rs 120 Discount on Electricity Bills

Mumbai, Dec 31 (NationPress) The state-operated power distribution entity Mahavitaran, also known as 'Maharashtra State Electricity Distribution Company Limited' (MSEDCL), is presenting a one-time discount of Rs 120 on electricity bills for consumers who enroll in the Go Green Facility as a festive New Year offering.
As per Mahavitaran, this Go Green Facility aligns with the initiative of 'Save Paper, Save Environment'.
Under this plan, consumers will receive a Rs 10 discount on their monthly electricity bills. However, an immediate discount of Rs 120 will be applied to the first bill.
Those participating in the Go Green Facility will receive their electricity bills via email each month, foregoing the traditional printed bills.
MahaVitaran has made a significant move for Go Green participants. Now, they will receive a lump sum discount of Rs 120 on their initial electricity bill instead of a monthly discount.
Out of approximately 3 crore low tension (LT) consumers, only 4.62 lakh, or 1.15 percent, have so far opted for the Go Green Facility.
MahaVitaran will be sending SMS notifications to its registered consumers, encouraging them to enroll in the Go Green Facility.
Subsequently, the electricity bill will be dispatched to the registered email until the service is canceled.
If consumer interest persists into the following year, a monthly discount of Rs 10 will be applied to future electricity bills.
MahaVitaran is urging consumers to take full advantage of this beneficial scheme.
