New Delhi, March 13 (NationPress) A teenage boy lost his life, while another suffered severe injuries after being attacked with a knife by a group of youths in the Sagarpur region of New Delhi, as reported by the police on Thursday.
The authorities have pinpointed three suspects, and a formal case has been initiated regarding the incident.
As per reports, the victims were taken to Bhagat Chandra Hospital in Janakpuri D Block immediately following the assault.
The hospital staff notified the police about the situation, leading to a swift response.
According to police records, a PCR call was placed at approximately 5:30 pm on Tuesday from Bhagat Hospital, informing them that two boys, ages around 15 and 17, had been admitted with critical stabbing injuries.
The victims were identified as Lucky, a resident of Indra Park, Sagarpur, and Ajay. Lucky, in a critical state, was subsequently transferred to Safdarjung Hospital, while doctors pronounced Ajay dead upon his arrival at Bhagat Hospital.
Initial investigations suggest that a dispute had erupted between the victims and 2-3 other boys, which culminated in the deadly attack.
This tragic event occurred in Indira Park Colony, Sagarpur, South West Delhi. Two minors were lingering on the street close to their residence when three young males approached and instigated a fight.
