Tejashwi Yadav Critiques Bihar CM for Inaction on BPSC Candidates' Protest

Patna, Dec 27 (NationPress) Tejashwi Yadav, the Leader of the Opposition in Bihar and a prominent figure in the Rashtriya Janata Dal, openly criticized Chief Minister Nitish Kumar for his silence concerning the use of force against protesting BPSC candidates.
Addressing the media in Patna, Yadav accused Kumar of showing indifference toward the challenges faced by students and permitting a government led by retired bureaucrats and select leaders to operate without accountability.
The Opposition leader posed several questions regarding the Chief Minister's awareness and concern for the BPSC candidates.
Yadav charged Nitish Kumar with causing “physical, mental, and financial distress” to the youth of Bihar.
“The Chief Minister has been complicit in police and administrative actions, including the deployment of force against students and examinees, while ignoring their grievances,” he stated.
Yadav unleashed a fierce critique of the NDA government in Bihar, led by CM Nitish Kumar, accusing it of being administratively inept and lacking in accountability.
“The government has consistently faltered in conducting examinations without incidents such as paper leaks, affecting everything from Class 10 to the BPSC exams. During the Grand Alliance tenure of 17 months, there was not a single question paper leak, and five lakh government jobs were created,” he asserted.
Moreover, he accused CM Nitish Kumar of maintaining a stance of silence and ineffectiveness, alleging that he has failed to implement any meaningful actions or plans in response to incidents impacting the state.
“What sort of Chief Minister is Nitish Kumar?” Yadav questioned, adding that “administrative chaos” reigns in the state, with governance being overseen by a group indifferent to public welfare.
Alongside his criticism of the state government, Yadav also targeted the BJP for showing disrespect towards Mahatma Gandhi and a female singer.
He referred to an incident where BJP leaders allegedly disrespected a singer for performing a bhajan dedicated to Mahatma Gandhi and pressured her to issue a public apology.
Yadav accused the BJP of hypocrisy, claiming they undermine the principles of Mahatma Gandhi while publicly espousing his values.
He further condemned the BJP's silence regarding the disrespect shown to Gandhi, Goddess Sita, and the female singer, labeling these actions as “social sins”.
