'Exhausted CM Nitish has dashed youth's aspirations': Tejashwi Yadav

Patna, Jan 8 (NationPress) The Leader of the Opposition in the Bihar Assembly, Tejashwi Yadav, has sharply criticized Chief Minister Nitish Kumar on Wednesday, charging that the 'exhausted' leader, who depends on retired officials for governance, has turned the aspirations of the youth into disappointments.
In a post on social media, Tejashwi labeled CM Nitish Kumar's Pragati Yatra as a 'Durgati Yatra' and condemned the state government for expending Rs 225.78 crore.
The RJD leader stated: 'The state administration is squandering hundreds of crores on advertisements for misleading campaigns.'
Tejashwi asserted that instead of nurturing growth, the Nitish Kumar government has plunged Bihar into poverty and hopelessness, remarking: 'The state government has devastated the lives of Biharis and rendered the state wretched.'
The RJD leader alleged that the Bihar administration's 'failure' across various sectors has left the state in a state of 'disarray.'
Regarding the state's infrastructure, he noted: 'Under the leadership of this indifferent government and its chief, numerous bridges collapsed during a single monsoon season.'
He indicated that such occurrences highlight incompetence in governance and planning, further exacerbating the state's problems.
Accusing the education system of rampant corruption, he stated: 'For the past two decades, all types of examinations have been plagued by paper leaks.'
The RJD leader commented that 'these malpractices have eroded the trust of Bihar's youth in the system and aggravated the employment crisis in the state.'
Pointing fingers at the Nitish government for deteriorating economic conditions, Tejashwi remarked: 'Escalating inflation is crippling the populace, and both small and large enterprises are on the verge of collapse.'
'Under the Nitish administration, Bihar leads the nation in poverty, unemployment, corruption, and migration, intensifying the suffering of its residents.' Tejashwi contended.
His comments come in the wake of CM Nitish's Pragati Yatra, which aims to showcase the government's developmental efforts.
Nevertheless, the opposition has persistently challenged the effectiveness of these initiatives, labeling them as mere eyewash.
