Telangana Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy and Governor Shiv Pratap Shukla on Wednesday extended greetings to the Muslim community on the occasion of Milad-un-Nabi, the festival marking the birth anniversary of Prophet Muhammad. Leaders across party lines in Hyderabad and Telangana joined in conveying wishes for peace, unity, and brotherhood.

Chief Minister's Message

Chief Minister Revanth Reddy described Milad-un-Nabi as a day of profound significance for the global Muslim community. He emphasised that the values taught by Prophet Muhammad — including peace, love, brotherhood, compassion, and righteous living — remain an enduring ideal for society at large.

Reddy also highlighted his government's stated commitment to the welfare of Muslim minorities, asserting that the administration is actively working toward their social, economic, and educational advancement. Governor Shukla's Appeal for Harmony

Governor Shiv Pratap Shukla called on citizens to let the occasion strengthen the spirit of peace, harmony, and togetherness. In his message, he urged everyone to uphold kindness, compassion, and service to humanity, and extended wishes for happiness and prosperity to all.

Cross-Party Greetings from Telangana Leaders

Union Minister for Coal and Mines G. Kishan Reddy also extended wishes, posting on X: 'Eid Mubarak! Best wishes on the occasion of Milad-un-Nabi.'

Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS) Deputy Leader in the Telangana State Legislative Assembly, T. Harish Rao, conveyed heartfelt greetings, saying: 'May the teachings of Prophet Muhammad inspire us with the values of peace, compassion, unity and service to humanity. May this sacred occasion bring happiness, and prosperity to all.'

Telangana Rakshana Samithi (TRS) leader K. Kavitha also joined in, stating: 'On this auspicious occasion of Milad-un-Nabi, I extend my heartfelt greetings to all Muslim brothers and sisters. May the teachings of compassion, peace, unity, and universal brotherhood of Prophet Muhammad inspire us to work together for a harmonious, prosperous, and inclusive society.'
