Hyderabad, March 11 (NationPress) Shiv Pratap Shukla was officially sworn in as the Governor of Telangana on Wednesday. The oath of office was administered by Chief Justice Aparesh Kumar at a ceremony held in Raj Bhavan.
Shukla surprised attendees by taking the oath in Telugu.
The ceremony was attended by notable figures including Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy, Deputy Chief Minister Mallu Bhatti Vikramarka, various state ministers, Assembly Speaker Gaddam Prasad Kumar, and Legislative Council Chairman Gutha Sukhender Reddy.
Also present were former Himachal Pradesh Governor Bandaru Dattatreya, state Congress chief Mahesh Kumar Goud, state BJP president Ramchander Rao, Chief Secretary K Ramakrishna Rao, DGP B Shivadhar Reddy, and other senior officials.
