New Delhi, Jan 15 (NationPress) Claiming that the Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS) is adopting the ideology of the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS), Telangana Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy on Wednesday labeled the opposition party as "BRSS".

The Chief Minister pointed out that the BRS is echoing the same accusations against his administration that are frequently made by the BJP.

Revanth Reddy, who attended the inauguration of the new Congress office building in the national capital, criticized the BRS while addressing reporters.

Referencing Rahul Gandhi's assertion that the Congress maintains ideological distinctions with the RSS, he stated that the Sangh never contributed to the fight for independence, as no member of the RSS sacrificed their life during the Indian freedom struggle.

The Chief Minister contended that the RSS is unwilling to acknowledge or discuss the freedom struggle.

"This reflects their true ideology. Mohan Bhagwat (RSS Sar Sanghachalak) also acknowledged that they have no connection to the freedom movement."

Revanth Reddy also echoed Rahul Gandhi's remarks regarding the sacrifices made by Congress leaders to secure independence from British rule, asserting that the national party is committed to advancing the nation.

The Chief Minister mentioned that Rahul Gandhi called for legal action against anyone who spoke disparagingly about freedom, indicating that Mohan Bhagwat is also subject to such scrutiny. He criticized the BJP for being adept at spreading falsehoods and labeled it the "Bharatiya Jhoota Party".

He urged Prime Minister Narendra Modi to clarify whether he stands with Bhagwat or supports the millions who perished for the nation’s freedom. He accused BJP leaders of attempting to distract from Bhagwat's comments regarding the Indian freedom struggle by launching baseless accusations against the Congress.

Commenting on the violent acts attributed to the opposition BRS party, CM Revanth Reddy assured that the Congress government is committed to upholding the law in Telangana. He emphasized that law enforcement will take necessary actions and file criminal cases if anyone is attacked or if law and order is compromised.

During the prior administration, BRS leaders, in collaboration with the police, assaulted Congress offices. The ruling Congress, however, is not engaging in such acts of violence, the CM stated.

The newly inaugurated Congress office is set to serve as a platform for the benefit of the nation's populace, as per the Chief Minister's remarks during the event.

The Congress constructed the new office building to strategize for national development, aiming to transform India into a robust and powerful nation.

According to the CM, it is the Congress that has shaped the Indian Constitution with the help of Babasaheb Ambedkar, emphasizing that the party draws inspiration from the Constitution in its efforts to uplift the poor, particularly the tribals, Dalits, marginalized communities, and minorities.

Although the Congress has governed the nation for many years, the establishment of its own office after so long is a testament to the party's selfless commitment to the country over decades.

CM Revanth Reddy remarked that the citizens are well aware of the financial conditions of the 140-year-old Congress and the 40-year-old BJP along with other regional parties.
