Hyderabad, April 18 (NationPress) Telangana Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy has extended his appreciation to the medical professionals at Osmania General Hospital for their crucial role in saving the life of a youth from Andhra Pradesh, after a private facility declined to admit him.

The Chief Minister expressed his gratitude on 'X', highlighting that the dedication of the doctors at a government hospital can indeed make the impossible possible.

CM Reddy specifically thanked Ranga Ajmeera, Vikram, and their team, noting that their commitment will significantly contribute to altering public perception about government hospitals.

He emphasized that the unwavering dedication demonstrated by the doctors at Osmania Hospital will bolster public trust in government healthcare facilities. "You are a role model for all healthcare professionals and staff in government hospitals statewide," he stated.

This commendation comes after a report indicated that a 22-year-old youth from Andhra Pradesh received treatment at Osmania Hospital after a private establishment refused to admit him due to his critical condition.

Hemanth, who is from Visakhapatnam, experienced severe abdominal pain and breathing difficulties while on a trip to Shirdi with his family on March 30. When taken to a private hospital, he was denied admission due to the seriousness of his condition.

Hemanth's family subsequently transported him to Osmania Hospital. Even though it was a holiday for the Telugu New Year 'Ugadi', the hospital managed to have a few doctors and staff available. The general surgery department promptly attended to him, and tests identified a perforation in his intestine.

Ranga Ajmeera, Vikram, and their medical team performed surgery on the patient. After 10 days of treatment, the youth was discharged last week, having made a full recovery.

Hemanth's family expressed their heartfelt thanks to the doctors for their life-saving intervention.
