Hyderabad, June 19 (NationPress) Telangana's Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy and Deputy Chief Minister Mallu Bhatti Vikramarka extended their heartfelt birthday wishes to the Leader of the Opposition (LoP) in Lok Sabha, Rahul Gandhi, on his special day.
In a message shared on ‘X’, Revanth Reddy referred to Rahul Gandhi as the ‘hope of India’.
“Wishing a joyful birthday to the hope of India, my leader, who embodies silent strength, is a true visionary, compassionate and wise, always prioritizing the interests of the people. He is a soldier advocating for the idea of India, inspiring all who genuinely love this nation, and above all, one of the most remarkable individuals I have encountered,” the post stated.
“May an increasing number of Indians recognize your affection for them and understand your unwavering dedication to the country and its citizens,” Revanth Reddy further expressed.
Deputy Chief Minister Vikramarka also offered warm birthday greetings to LoP Rahul Gandhi.
“Your steadfast commitment to social justice and equal rights for all remains our guiding light. Inspired by your vision, Telangana took a pioneering step as the first state in India to undertake a caste census, ensuring equitable opportunities for every community. Initiatives like Gruha Jyothi, Rythu Runa Mafi, Yuva Vikasam, Indiramma Indlu, Mahalakshmi free bus travel, and Cheyutha all stem from the principles of equity and dignity for everyone,” remarked the Deputy Chief Minister.
“May you persist in leading us towards a just, compassionate, and inclusive India,” he added.
Mahesh Kumar Goud, president of the Telangana Pradesh Congress Committee (TPCC), also took to ‘X’ to extend his wishes to LoP Rahul Gandhi.
“A fearless leader who confronts power with the truth. A beacon of compassion, courage, and constitutional values. Your struggle for justice, equality, and the dignity of every Indian instills hope in this nation. May your path continue to empower the voiceless and fortify democracy,” stated the state Congress chief.
Former Indian cricket captain and TPCC working president Mohammed Azharuddin also shared his birthday greetings with the Congress leader.
“May you continue to lead with strength and compassion. Warm wishes from Telangana,” Azharuddin wrote.
Congress leaders and supporters commemorated LoP Rahul Gandhi’s birthday at the state party headquarters, Gandhi Bhavan, where a grand 100-feet-high cut-out of him was displayed. The leaders cut a cake and distributed textbooks to students.
