Lucknow, Aug 13 (NationPress) The vibrant streets of Lucknow, renowned for its historic landmarks and delectable street cuisine, erupted with energy on Wednesday as crowds gathered to take part in the Tiranga Yatra.
This year signifies 78 years of Independence, and in recent years, individuals throughout the nation, including those in Uttar Pradesh, have commemorated this day as a tribute to the country's heroes and valiant soldiers.
During this celebration, Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath inaugurated the ‘Har Ghar Tiranga’ initiative from his official residence, encouraging every citizen to raise the Tricolour as an emblem of national pride and respect for the military.
He also invited residents to engage in the three-day campaign and share selfies with the Tricolour on the government site - harghartiranga.com.
The Chief Minister emphasized: “From rural areas to urban centers, Tiranga Yatras are showcasing an inspiring spirit. In Uttar Pradesh, citizens are actively participating in the Har Ghar Tiranga and Selfie with Tiranga initiatives.”
