Transformative Vision of PM Modi: Bihar BJP Chief on 'One Nation, One Election'

Patna, Dec 18 (NationPress) Bihar BJP President and Revenue and Land Reforms Minister, Dilip Jaiswal, asserted that the initiative of ‘One Nation, One Election’ is a transformative vision with substantial advantages for the nation.
He characterized the initiative as forward-thinking and in harmony with Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s commitment to fortifying democracy and advancing national progress.
Jaiswal articulated that ‘One Nation, One Election’ is not merely a landmark initiative, but a crucial measure to enhance governance stability and optimize the development trajectory of the nation.
“Regular elections impede developmental momentum because of the constant enforcement of the Model Code of Conduct (MCC). This disrupts administrative operations and delays the rollout of government programs. Continuous elections impose a significant financial burden and consume time. Conducting simultaneous elections nationwide would conserve resources that could be redirected towards nation-building efforts,” Jaiswal noted.
The BJP leader emphasized that a consolidated election timeline would alleviate the pressure on government personnel and security agencies, ensuring uninterrupted administrative activities.
Political factions and leaders could then concentrate on developmental programs rather than being incessantly tied up with electioneering, he stated.
“The ‘One Nation, One Election’ strategy could enhance public enthusiasm and maintain trust by simplifying the voting procedure and minimizing electoral fatigue among the populace,” the BJP leader further mentioned.
Jaiswal called on all political entities to set aside their differences and unite in favor of ‘One Nation, One Election’, stressing that it serves the national interest rather than a partisan agenda.
“I urge social organizations, citizens, and other stakeholders to support this monumental reform, acknowledging its potential to strengthen India’s democracy and make it more effective,” he stated.
According to Jaiswal, the initiative goes beyond simple political reform. By facilitating synchronized elections nationwide, it seeks to diminish governance inefficiencies and establish a more stable democratic structure.
He praised PM Modi for leading the charge toward achieving this objective, underlining it as a key component of a larger vision to construct a robust and resilient democratic nation.
