Bhopal, Aug 2 (NationPress) The Chief Minister of Madhya Pradesh, Mohan Yadav, along with the State Assembly Speaker Narendra Singh Tomar, commemorated the birth anniversary of the late Ravishankar Shukla, who served as the state's inaugural Chief Minister. This tribute took place on Saturday.
Ravishankar Shukla, born on August 2, 1877, was a prominent figure in the Indian Independence movement and played a significant role in the political landscape of the central provinces. He held the Chief Ministerial position in the recognized state of Madhya Pradesh from November 1, 1956, until his passing on December 31.
This program was organized by the State Assembly to honor Shukla's immense contributions, earning him the title of the architect of Madhya Pradesh.
Nonetheless, the absence of any Congress representatives during this event, particularly the Leader of Opposition, Umang Singhar, was met with criticism.
