In a post on X, he remarked that Bihar's melodious nightingale bestowed a remarkable recognition upon the region's art and culture, and her enchanting songs celebrating Chhath Mahaparv will forever resonate in the hearts of many.

Modi Story, a notable social media account on X, shared uplifting narratives from the life of the distinguished singer, illustrating how her devotional melodies bridged tradition with contemporary themes.

The post emphasized that Sharda Sinha’s voice, emanating from the rich land of Mithilanchal, became an emblem of India’s cultural heritage and faith, granting a new identity and acknowledgment to folk music.

Additionally, a video featuring her son Anshuman was shared, in which he reminisced about her deep commitment to Indian culture and her vision of blending civilizational heritage with modernity.

Prime Minister Modi has frequently acknowledged Sharda Sinha's significant contributions, attributing her role in elevating the global status of Chhath Mahaparv.

Anshuman expressed that one of the family's most cherished moments was when Prime Minister Modi referred to his mother as the “Chhathi Maiya ki Beti” during an event in Mithilanchal.

He also recalled her memorable encounter with the Prime Minister in 2018, stating, “When Sharda Sinha ji received the Padma Bhushan award, her heartfelt meeting with the PM was remarkable. He praised her exceptional talent and acknowledged her steadfast dedication towards preserving the cultural heritage of Bihar and India.”

Anshuman further noted that his mother regarded Narendra Modi as a leader who possesses profound respect and sensitivity towards both the arts and governance.
