Kolkata, May 30 (NationPress) The Trinamool Congress has officially declared a leadership change within the party’s Legal Cell for West Bengal. The current head, Moloy Ghatak, who also serves as the state’s Labour and Law Minister, has been replaced.
The new head is Chandrima Bhattacharya, the Minister of State for Finance (independent charge) and a professional advocate.
“We are pleased to announce that Chandrima Bhattacharya has been appointed as the Chairperson of the AITC Legal Cell for West Bengal. The complete committee for the Legal Cell will be unveiled soon. We wish her great success in her new role,” stated the Trinamool.
This appointment has stirred discussions in political circles, as Bhattacharya also chairs the Trinamool Congress’s Women’s Cell for West Bengal.
Furthermore, she is managing both the Finance and Home departments within the state as Minister of State.
