UK and Germany Join Forces for Madhya Pradesh Global Investors Summit: Kailash Vijayvargiya

Bhopal, Dec 4 (NationPress) The United Kingdom and Germany -- the nations visited by Chief Minister Mohan Yadav in November -- will collaborate as partners in the Madhya Pradesh Global Investor Summit, as stated by state Urban Development Minister Kailash Vijayvargiya on Wednesday after a cabinet meeting.

The Minister indicated that a proposal was presented to the cabinet led by CM Mohan Yadav, which received unanimous approval from the council of ministers.

He confirmed that both nations have consented to participate as partners in the 'MP Global Investors Summit', scheduled to occur in Bhopal in February 2025. This will mark the inaugural Global Investors Summit in Bhopal, according to the minister.

During the cabinet meeting, ministers also extended their congratulations to Chief Minister Mohan Yadav for his successful visit to the UK and Germany.

"CM Mohan Yadav has garnered an impressive response from both countries. Both nations have agreed to participate in the MP Global Investors Summit in February 2025," Vijayvargiya stated.

He further elaborated that Madhya Pradesh has attracted investment proposals amounting to Rs 78,000 crore during his six-day visit to the UK and Germany. "If this substantial investment materializes, Madhya Pradesh will embark on a new chapter of industrial expansion in the years to come," Vijayvargiya remarked.

Investment proposals of Rs 59,350 crore and Rs 18,090 crore were received from the UK and Germany, respectively, across the education, health, skill development, and technology sectors, as previously reported by the state government.

In addition, Vijayvargiya announced that the next Regional Industrial Conclave (RIC) will take place in Narmadapuram (Hoshangabad) on December 7, with another planned for later in the Shahdol division.

This will be the sixth Regional Industry Conclave (RIC), aimed at establishing industries in Madhya Pradesh. The last conclave was held on October 23 in Rewa, where the state government received an investment proposal worth Rs 38,000 crore.

These conclaves are conducted in divisional headquarters and were previously held in Jabalpur (Mahakaushal), Gwalior, Ujjain, Sagar, and Rewa. According to the state government, the goal of the conclave is not only to promote business opportunities but also to facilitate the process for investors and entrepreneurs to establish industries in the state.

Under the Business Promotion Centre, representatives from various trade associations and government departments engage in in-depth discussions regarding business prospects. Chief Minister Mohan Yadav participates in one-on-one interactive sessions with prominent industrialists.
