Usha Thakur Critiques Iltija Mufti’s 'Hindutva' Comments, Calling Them Unfounded

New Delhi, Dec 9 (NationPress) Former Madhya Pradesh Minister and BJP member Usha Thakur responded to Iltija Mufti's claim that "Hindutva is a disease", labeling it as groundless and nonsensical.

In an interview with IANS, Thakur stated, “Iltija's remarks are utterly baseless and devoid of meaning. She lacks understanding of Hindutva and has no knowledge of Shri Ram. India is a land of Vedas, home to Sanatanis... her disparagement of this exceptional way of life (Hindutva) merely highlights her intellectual deficiency.”

Addressing Iltija Mufti’s comments regarding Lord Ram, the BJP leader asserted, “Ram represents our nation; he embodies it. The noble existence of Ram ji serves as a beacon of inspiration for every Indian. Such sentiments towards Lord Shri Ram indicate her anti-national attitude.”

When asked if there should be a ‘Ram Ki Pathshala’ in schools across J&K, she replied, “Why not? These educational institutes should not only be in Jammu and Kashmir or India but globally. We are on the path to becoming Vishwaguru and achieving Swarnim Bharat by 2047. If humanity seeks happiness, peace, and contentment, they should aspire to live according to the exemplary life of Lord Shri Ram.”

The debate surrounding Iltija's comments ignited on Saturday when she posted on X, claiming, "Hindutva is a disease."

She further elaborated, "Even Lord Ram would be ashamed of witnessing this. Young Muslim children are being attacked merely for refusing to utter Ram's name. Hindutva is a disease that has afflicted millions of Indians and tarnished God’s reputation," she expressed.

In response to the backlash, Iltija clarified that her reference to Lord Ram aimed to shed light on the hypocrisy of those who profess to uphold Ram Rajya while engaging in violent acts.
