Jaipur, April 21 (NationPress) US Vice President J.D. Vance is set to land in Jaipur tonight at approximately 9 p.m., accompanied by his family for a four-day official trip to India, primarily focused on Rajasthan with a short visit to Agra.
The family is scheduled to stay at the Rambagh Palace, arriving by 10 p.m.
Due to the significance of this visit, the city is implementing stringent security measures.
More than 2,000 police officers have been assigned to various crucial areas. This includes eight IPS officers, 23 Additional SPs, 40 DSPs, and over 300 Sub-Inspectors, ASIs, and other personnel to maintain security during this important dignitary's visit to the Rajasthan capital.
As part of the security preparations, a comprehensive rehearsal was performed on Sunday from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m. along the scheduled route for the Vice President, covering locations such as OTS, Rambagh Palace, Amer Fort, and the Rajasthan International Center (RIC). Due to this visit, Amer Fort will be closed to tourists from noon on Monday until noon on Tuesday to ensure safety.
Officials have stated that Vice President Vance will be greeted by Rajasthan Chief Minister Bhajan Lal Sharma at Jaleb Chowk in Amer Fort on Tuesday morning.
