Bhopal, Nov 7 (NationPress) Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Mohan Yadav emphasized on Friday that Vande Mataram transcends the definition of a mere song; it is a vibrant reflection of the nation’s consciousness, sparking the flame of freedom within the hearts of millions.
This statement was made during the inauguration of the state-level 'Vande Mataram: 150th Smaranotsav Ceremony' held at the Shaurya Smarak in Bhopal.
Among the attendees were Director General of Police (DGP) Kailash Makwana, Commissioner of Police (CP) Harinarayanchari Mishra, Bhopal MP Alok Sharma, Mayor Malti Rai, along with several other ministers and local BJP MLAs.
The event featured a recitation of the National Song, followed by a band performance from the state police, creating an atmosphere filled with patriotism. A significant audience participated, chanting slogans like 'Bharat Mata ki jai'.
In his address, Chief Minister Yadav remarked, “Vande Mataram is not merely a song, but a vibrant manifestation of our consciousness, which ignited the flame of freedom in the hearts of millions of Indian citizens.”
He noted that the 'Vande Mataram Smaranotsav' represents a unique vision of Prime Minister Narendra Modi towards fostering national pride and preserving our heritage.
At the state level, the 'Vande Mataram: 150th Smaranotsav Ceremony' included virtual participation in a program organized in New Delhi.
To honor the 150th anniversary of 'Vande Mataram', the BJP government arranged similar events across all 55 district headquarters in Madhya Pradesh.
While the Chief Minister led the event in Bhopal, other cabinet ministers participated in their respective districts. For example, Deputy Chief Minister Rajendra Shukla was in Rewa, Kailash Vijayvargiya attended in Indore, Pradhuman Singh Tomar was in Gwalior, and Rakesh Singh was in Jabalpur.
Additionally, the CM took part in a gathering at the state BJP office in Bhopal. He shared on his X handle, “I participated in the event commemorating the 150th anniversary of the national song 'Vande Mataram' and extended my congratulations and best wishes.
