Viksit Bharat: Emerging Leaders Advocate for Closing the Digital Gap and Supporting MSMEs

New Delhi, Jan 10 (NationPress) The Viksit Bharat Young Leaders Dialogue 2025 commenced on Friday with a wide range of activities as participants took part in thematic presentations and competitions centered on topics from technology to a sustainable future, along with infrastructure and women's empowerment.
Pratishta from Telangana, who participated in the event focusing on Tech for Viksit Bharat, remarked, "There is a pressing need to close the technological divide between urban and rural areas. To achieve this, we must establish technology hubs that inspire leaders, practitioners, and researchers to come to rural locales and educate residents on how to utilize the applications they create."
Rahul Arora, a resident of Delhi, who engaged in the session themed 'Transforming India into a Global Manufacturing Hub', stated, "It is timely that in 2025 we are addressing manufacturing challenges that are essential for building a developed India by 2047."
He emphasized that Micro Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) represent India's most significant opportunity for rapid progress, emphasizing the critical need for the alignment of resources, workforce, and governmental policies.
"We appreciate this chance to engage with bureaucrats who, I trust, will formulate the appropriate policies for aligning resources and regulations at the right moments," he added.
Durga Prasad Bhandari from Sikkim, who participated in a session on the vision for Viksit Bharat 2047, expressed, "I envision a developed nation free from conflicts based on religion or language."
"Citizens should prioritize the nation, and patriotism should unite us in our forward march," he stated, underscoring the importance of transforming India into a sports powerhouse.
"We must find a balance between embracing modernity and preserving our ancient knowledge and heritage as we progress towards Viksit Bharat by 2047," he concluded.
The themes designated for participants in the Viksit Bharat Young Leaders Dialogue 2025 included: 'Tech for Viksit Bharat', 'Vikas Bhi Virasat Bhi', 'Empowering Youth for Viksit Bharat', 'Enhancing Productivity in Agriculture', 'Making India the Startup Capital of the World', 'Making India a Sporting and FIT Nation', 'Making India the Global Manufacturing Powerhouse', 'Steering India Towards a Sustainable Future', 'Building the Infrastructure for the Future', and 'Empowering Women and Improving Social Indicators'.
The event also included a variety of creative competitions, such as painting, story writing, music, dance, declamation, and poetry, enabling participants to showcase their vision for a developed India.
Additionally, attendees were taken on enriching excursions to the Pradhanmantri Sangrahalaya, which provided a deeper connection to India’s history and governance.
The event also facilitated interactions with Union Ministers, Members of Parliament, and policymakers, promoting meaningful discussions and collaboration on essential development issues.
These exchanges aimed to bridge the gap between youth aspirations and governmental actions, fostering impactful dialogues that contribute to India's growth and progress, as per an official statement.
