New Delhi, March 31 (NationPress) More than 100 young individuals are set to participate in the national round of 'Viksit Bharat Youth Parliament 2025' on Tuesday. Their discussions will revolve around politics and public policy, aiming to inspire the next generation of leaders.

The event will feature 108 participants, including the top three candidates from each State/UT, all chosen through a comprehensive three-tier selection process organized by the Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports.

Mansukh Mandaviya, the Union Minister of Youth Affairs and Sports, will guide the discussions at the Youth Parliament, which will focus on critical topics such as 'One Nation, One Election' and 'Viksit Bharat', culminating in a formal resolution.

As part of the experience, participants will attend a masterclass led by a senior Member of Parliament, enhancing their oratory and leadership skills, according to a statement released on Sunday.

Participants will gain real-time parliamentary exposure by attending sessions in both the Lok Sabha and Rajya Sabha. They will also visit the Prime Minister Museum to learn about India's political history and leadership narratives.

The event will conclude with an Awards Ceremony on April 3, where the Viksit Bharat Youth Parliament Awards and National Youth Awards will be presented.

The Viksit Bharat Youth Parliament is organized into three main phases, with preliminary stages held at district and state levels.

During the District Nodal rounds, discussions around 'One Nation, One Election' reached various towns and villages through extensive dialogues conducted at 300 district nodes.

To participate, candidates submitted a one-minute video responding to the question: “What does Viksit Bharat mean to you?”

More than 75,000 young individuals submitted their video entries via the MY Bharat portal, demonstrating their passion and dedication to shaping the nation's future. The entire selection process utilized digital platforms, highlighting the increasing integration of technology in governance initiatives.

The State Rounds were conducted across more than 17 Assemblies and other government entities, overseen by Assembly Speakers and Governors, which enhanced the credibility and importance of youth discussions.
