Dehradun, Dec 17 (NationPress) The Chief Minister of Uttarakhand, Pushkar Singh Dhami, convened a meeting on Wednesday to assess the arrangements for the “Jan-Jan Ki Sarkar, Jan-Jan Ke Dwar” (Government at Every Citizen's Doorstep) initiative at his residence.
He instructed officials and community leaders to ensure that the advantages of both Central and State Government welfare programs reach every individual through the ‘Prashasan Gaon ki Ore’ (Administration Towards the Village) campaign.
From December 17, 2025, a comprehensive 45-day campaign will be rolled out across the state, featuring multi-purpose camps organized in phases at all Nyaya Panchayats.
During these camps, officials will travel to rural regions, collect applications from residents, connect eligible beneficiaries with various programs, and provide swift resolutions to public complaints.
CM Dhami stated that the initiative should be executed at the Nyaya Panchayat level, with multiple camps held in larger Panchayats as needed.
Detailed information about government schemes should be disseminated at these camps, ensuring that no eligible beneficiary is overlooked.
Following the camps, officials are directed to visit adjacent villages to assist eligible individuals in completing application forms, identify those who have not received benefits, and rectify any issues.
He emphasized the necessity of publicizing the camps extensively beforehand, ensuring residents are informed at least 3-4 days in advance.
The Chief Minister also mandated that the District Magistrate must attend at least one camp weekly, while senior administrative officers should participate in the other camps. Designated department officers must be present at the camps to address public issues immediately.
CM Dhami underscored the significance of public representatives, asserting that 100 percent participation from elected representatives in the camps is essential. Organizational leaders and public officials should actively engage in resolving community challenges and raising awareness about government programs.
Each program should be thoroughly documented, with beneficiary satisfaction prioritized, and weekly progress reports submitted to the Chief Minister’s Office, Chief Secretary’s Office, and General Administration Department. Success stories and program outcomes should be communicated to the public through the media.
Calling public satisfaction the government's primary focus, the Chief Minister urged that this campaign be transformed into a mass movement.
