Patna, Nov 16 (NationPress) Tej Pratap Yadav, the leader of Janshakti Janta Dal (JJD) and the eldest son of Lalu Prasad Yadav, expressed his outrage over the perceived insult directed at his sister Rohini Acharya. He emphasized that the people of Bihar will not tolerate such injustice against their daughter, threatening that the traitors (referring to Jaichands) would be expelled from the party.
Following his dismissal, Tej Pratap has severed ties with both family and party, and he took to social media to express his anger and frustration over the incident. This event has revealed a significant rift within the party, which has now extended into family matters after their disappointing performance in the Bihar Assembly elections.
Rohini Acharya, who selflessly donated her kidney to her father, Lalu Yadav, left their residence in Patna on Saturday, alleging harassment, verbal abuse, and threats of physical assault involving slippers, which she attributed to 'outsiders' responsible for the party's poor election results.
Tej Pratap declared that the disrespect shown to his sister was unbearable for him and cautioned the 'Jaichands' that any attack on his family would lead to the people's unforgiving response.
He appealed to his father, the RJD chief, Lalu Yadav, stating, "Just one signal from you, and the people of Bihar will take action against these Jaichands."
Tej Pratap further expressed on his party's Instagram, "The recent incident has profoundly affected me. I can tolerate what happens to me, but the insult to my sister is intolerable. Should you dare to offend the Jaichand family, the people of Bihar will not spare you."
He added, "Since learning about my sister's assault with slippers, the pain in my heart has ignited a fire. When public sentiments are hurt, clarity is restored. A few individuals have clouded even Tejashwi's judgment," he continued.
Tej Pratap warned, "The repercussions of this injustice will be severe. The reckoning of time is extremely harsh."
He also urged his father, stating, "Father, please provide me with a sign. Just one gesture from you, and the people of Bihar will take care of these Jaichands."
He concluded, "This struggle is not merely for a party; it is for the honor of our family, the dignity of our daughter, and the self-respect of Bihar."
