Bengaluru, Feb 27 (NationPress) Former Chief Minister and BJP Central Parliamentary Board Member B.S. Yediyurappa, who celebrated his 83rd birthday on Thursday, declared his intention to commence a state-wide tour aimed at fortifying the party and ensuring the BJP's return to power in Karnataka.
In a statement to the media in Bengaluru, Yediyurappa remarked: “I will strengthen the party. The BJP's return to power in the state is as inevitable as the sun and moon. Having completed 82 years, I am now entering my 83rd year. People throughout the state have engaged in special prayers and conveyed their blessings.”
He continued: “The citizens of Karnataka have empowered me to serve as Chief Minister. I plan to organize conventions for party members in every district to uplift their spirits. I am resolute about ensuring that this corrupt Congress-led government is ousted from power.”
