In the company of esteemed dignitaries and fellow awardees, Ayaan received the accolade from the President of India, who commended the young achievers for their contributions to the nation’s advancement.
This 12-year-old singer has already become an internet sensation, as his Kashmiri songs have gone viral on social media, amassing millions of views. His music continues to trend throughout the valley.
Ayaan Sajad, hailing from Anantnag district in southern Kashmir, aspires to represent his country and his homeland of Kashmir, inspiring countless younger generations across the globe to pursue their dreams and passions.
Previously, he shared with reporters, “I began my journey through small events, weddings, and participating in numerous singing competitions to gain exposure.”
“My journey commenced at a family function where I was asked to perform a Kashmiri song. It was at one of these events that I met local radio jockey RJ Umer, who provided me with a platform to perform on stage and showcase my talents. That’s truly where my journey took off,” he stated.
